The Most Illustrious Royal Order of the Crown of the Northern Forests is a Royal Order of Knighthood organization known as a "House Order" under the protection and leadership of the Princely House of Cedrus and is the highest honor in the Principality of the Northern Forests. It is the most prestigious order ruled over by the Princess of the Northern Forest and is typically given to Military Leaders, Nobility and Heads of State from other Nations around the world. There are no applications to the order and it is by invitation only at the Princess's pleasure.
History of the Order
The Royal Order of the Crown of the Northern Forests was established at the founding of the Principality of the Northern Forests in order to honor those who make great strides to support the founding ideals of the Principality and the Princely Family.
Organization of the Order
Membership in the order may, at the Princess's pleasure, be bestowed upon individuals of any citizenship, any religion, or gender for recognized outstanding virtuous conduct towards humanity and in military efforts.

The title of Grand Cordon is the the highest class in the Royal Order of the Crown of the Northern Forests. The class of Grand Cordon is typically reserved for Royalty, Heads of State, Nobility, Military Officers and equivalents and may or may not be granted as a hereditary title. If it is granted as a hereditary title the Letters Patent and them alone will state it specifically.
Regalia of the Order
Recipients at the rank of Grand Cordon are entitled to a breast star and a sash of the Order. The sash of the Order is Silver and edged with green. The sash is 100 millimeters wide and is worn over the right shoulder and it rests on the left hip. The sash has an insignia. The insignia is 65 millimeters wide from left to right. Recipients at the rank of Knight Commander or Dame Commander are entitled to a breast ribbon of the order. The insignia is surmounted by a Silver Crown of the Northern Forests. Recipients at the rank of Knight or Dame are entitled to a breast ribbon. The ribbon is 40 millimeters wide from left to right, and is Green and White Suspended from the ribbon is an insignia. The insignia is 45 millimeters wide from left to right.
